Chay Garden Brings Premium Vegetarian Catering to the Art Event “Hồi Ức Nam Sơn”
When vegetarian cuisine accompanies works of art, it can create a poetic and complete artistic experience for attendees.
On October 24, 2025, at the Quang San Art Museum (QSAM), the exhibition and press conference launching the book set “Nam Sơn (1899–1973) – The Indochina Fine Arts Heritage through Documents, Archives, and Press” took place. Chay Garden was honored to be part of this art appreciation event by providing premium vegetarian catering services.
The event was not only an important artistic gathering but also a space where traditional values, modernity, research, and creativity were recreated and blended into an inspiring flow.
In the journey to honor one of the founders of modern Vietnamese fine arts, Chay Garden brought pure, light, and art-inspired vegetarian delicacies—serving as a gentle touchpoint amid the layers of colorful fine art.

A Feast of Beautiful Memories, Art, and Heritage
The “Hồi Ức Nam Sơn” exhibition was held at QSAM—the first private art museum in Ho Chi Minh City, home to over 1,600 works spanning from the Indochina period to the present day. This artistic space is already rich in depth, and the book launch press conference further transformed it into a meeting point between memory and the present, between restored historical documents and a fine arts heritage coming back to life in the eyes of viewers.

The solemn opening ceremony began with tributes to the renowned painter Nam Sơn, co-founder of the Indochina College of Fine Arts alongside Victor Tardieu. Stories shared by author Ngô Kim Khôi and art researchers during the discussion panel guided attendees through a 25-year journey of collecting, studying, and reviving a heritage hidden within layers of time.
The moment Nam Sơn’s original works were introduced brought a hushed reverence to the room. Each painting felt like a breath from the 20th century, present in the viewers’ gaze with respect and emotion.
The Culinary Touchpoint Amid the Space of Painting
Amid this journey through memory and art, Chay Garden’s catering table appeared as a gentle yet impressive pause. For Chay Garden, every vegetarian dish is also a work of art. With our love for Vietnam’s pure vegetables, fruits, and natural ingredients, we take pride in transforming them into refined vegetarian delicacies and contributing to the “Hồi Ức Nam Sơn” exhibition.

What made us happiest was seeing guests pause at the buffet, savor the vegetarian dishes, smile, and nod lightly. One guest shared that the simple yet refined vegetarian flavors made them feel relaxed after hours of listening and reflecting on the life of the great painter.

Honored to Be Part of a Greater Journey
This event was more than just a press conference or exhibition—it was a call to remember the layers of Indochina fine arts heritage, an indispensable part of Vietnam’s artistic identity.
Chay Garden is proud to have accompanied author Ngô Kim Khôi, the Quang San Art Museum, and Vietnamese art researchers in introducing important fine art works and spreading stories about the life of a great figure—the painter Nam Sơn.
We believe that artistic activities, both domestically and internationally, can become even more complete when combined with reputable premium catering services like Chay Garden. Because vegetarian cuisine is also a form of art.
